genre2 accepts previously unpublished fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, visual art, graphic narrative, and other genres that we’re not hip enough to think of at the moment. If you've written or created something outside your primary genre, we want to see it

To submit, please send 3–6 poems, fiction or nonfiction of 7500 words or less (flash welcome! and encouraged!), or up to 10 images as an attachment to genre2mag@gmail.com. In your cover letter, please tell us a little about yourself and what you consider your primary genre. Do note that we are unable to accept pieces by authors who do not identify their primary genre(s).

We publish two issues a year and read year-round. We aim to respond to all work within three months. Also, simultaneous subs are welcome, though please send only one submission at a time, and please send in a single genre at a time. Past contributors, kindly wait two years before submitting again.
